Life in Yellowstone

Well folks I'm still here. I had to go to dial-up since it is impossible to get a wireless signal in the park. I am living in a travel trailer that I bought in Billings, Mt. (my Montana home) well, now it is my Wyoming home. The park here is real nice and the dogs seem to like it here. Only Molly has a problem with the snow. Mia thinks she is a snow bunny as she loves to jump into the snow. Work here is going well, although we have been very slow due to lack of tourists. Every day I take a drive I see wildlife. That is the beauty of being here for the season. The bison are having their babies as well as the bears. June the Elk will start dropping babies. Some of the pictures are of Yellowstone Lake which is still frozen over. The lake has 142 miles of shoreline. Hard to believe that a lake this big is still frozen in late May. I can't wait until the weather gets warmer so I can jump on my bike and drive around the park. Claire will fly into Cody, Wy May 28th. Looking forward to having my wife back.OK , let me post some photos. Hope you enjoy. Take care all my good friends and family. Miss you all.

Just love those animals

Had to go to Gardnier Montana for a few things and saw a few animals on the way. The bison on the road was on the way back to my home in Lake, Wy. Every day that you venture into the park you see animals. The fun of it all is that you don't even have to leave the comfort of your car to see these critters. Well now, Friday I got up and turned on the tap and "no water". The temp. got down to 16 degrees and froze my water hose. Had to remove the hose and set it in the shower over in the bath house to thaw out. The secret to preventing a freeze is that you have to keep the water flowing so it doesn't freeze. That means listening to a constant drip from the tap. Things I have to deal with, even those bison won't get out of my way. Started setting up the gift shop on Friday as it will open May 15. It has snowed everyday since I have been here but today it was a sunny 45 degree day. Short and sweet, got things to do, places to go. See ya all.
